Ever since the start of the server, we’ve had a checklist of things that needed to be done. One of those was the Vortigaunt faction. Unfortunately, we never got around to finding someone with enough time and expertise to lead the faction, so we just didn’t add them. That was, until a short while ago.
At last, Vortigaunts are joining Lancer 2, led by Adno & Ezequiel — both highly talented and experienced with the faction. Biotic applications, as you might have guessed, will be exclusively managed Out-Of-Character. Speaking of which, they are open right now! You can find the submission form here.
There will be no Freed Vortigaunt applications, however. All Freed Vortigaunts must come about from IC actions. Furthermore, to allow us time to settle down and fix any issues or unsolved matters with enslaved Vortigaunts, freed Vortigaunts will not make an appearance until at least one month after the introduction of enslaved Vortigaunts. Thus, any escape or freeing attempts will unfortunately not be possible for the time being.
An extensive faction guide as well as a lore document have been developed to facilitate the addition of this new faction to the server. Make sure to read them both thoroughly before applying for a whitelist, if you are interested.
We are looking forward to seeing the creative and deep roleplay that you will create using these new characters and in what ways they will impact the world.
