Hello everyone!
We are happy to announce that we will be entering Closed Beta on Saturday, January 28th at 6:00 PM UTC.
There is unfortunately a chance that we may need to delay the launch for a few days, based on whether any game-breaking bugs or flaws are discovered before the opening. You will be notified accordingly, if this is the case.
The Closed Beta will be open to everyone who joined the Discord Server before the time of this announcement.
In order to ensure we avoid confusion and chaos (as is common with most server launches), we will be granting people server access in ‘batches’. First, all Lancer Staff & Donators will be given access. After about 20-30 minutes, we will let in all players with Civil Protection characters. After about 20-30 more minutes when they are all set up, we will let in all players with Faction Characters (IGA, CWU, CMU) to allow them to set up their characters and get ready too. Finally, after about 20 to 30 more minutes, we will let in everyone else.
Furthermore, to avoid confusion or unwanted situations, we will be forcing a truce period of one-week (max) (no unprovoked attacks against Overwatch Forces, except in the case of Self-Defense). This is to allow us (mainly the Combine-side of the server) to get on our feet and get organised, fix any found bugs, add any missing features, etc. This truce may be broken earlier depending on how the first few days of the server perform in terms of stability and whatnot.
We hope you are all as excited as we are in finally letting you all experience the server and enjoying yourselves in the environment that we have shaped.
Any changes to the current launch plan will be announced accordingly.
